Tom Coburn Wants to Eliminate 80,000 Jobs
Senator Tom Coburn (R—Cocksucker) is about to eliminate 80,000 jobs. How? By blocking a transportation bill that’s already been approved by the GOP-controlled House. The bill provides funding for the Federal Aviation Administration and various highway projects. The bill needs to be on President Obama’s desk by tomorrow.
Coburn is threatening to keep blocking the bill until after tomorrow’s deadline, thereby throwing 80,000 Americans out of work.
Coburn’s “reason” for blocking the bill: the bill includes funding for bike paths and trees along roadways.
And that’s not all. Coburn is also holding up a bill that provides funding for FEMA. This bill is necessary, obviously, to get aid to thousands of disaster victims. And on top of that, the FEMA bill needs to be voted on by the Senate BEFORE the Senate can vote on the FAA bill that Coburn is also blocking.
What should happen to Tom Coburn? For some reason I keep flashing back to the ending of Straw Dogs (the original, since I haven’t seen the new version yet). Any other ideas?

Well...eliminate is the appropriate word here, but not as it applies to the asswipe's shenanigan. Bear trap works for me...or something that involves a reamer.
I'm thinking along the lines Reservoir dogs, discussing I dunno the niceties of doilies on end tables and how they affect national security, before they off his ass to some place horrible like Fresno. Hey it makes as much sense, as holding up a bill for a few million dollars and would be way more entertaining, even with abive discussed doilies. I don't know about you guys, I like the tree barren landscapes of the desert.
This is as stoopit as Gohmert(Texas idiot) taking the American Jobs act and calling it his own either yesterday. Nothing else to do in the world, but be idiots for these people is there?
Hey they should vote yes for everything that's out there. Something has to stick, eventually, hopefully.
Lisa, the Child Left Behind, does it again...

Do you ever, and I mean EVER, have any idea of what you're about to do when you click that "Publish" button? You confuse those of us who have long known what an idiot you are. Just think of how the casual visitor must suffer when trying to get an idea of what it is you're dribbling about.
Time to pack Tom up, and put him someplace where he can't harm anyone anymore. Last I checked, Alcatraz was still unoccupied.
frothing again JR?
@JR here comes NIMBY girl. I want to be able to visit Alcatraz on the ferry so no, he can't come here. I suggest the Gitmo holiday compound, since he is one of the ones wants to keep it open.
If it wasn't Coburn, Kyl or some other extremist bully would block these things.
Coburn isn't upset about a few trees being planted along a highway or bike paths. He knows his stock goes up with the Neanderthals who elected him whenever he pulls these stunts. But the main thing is to obstruct everything that might end up looking like Obama won something and anything that might improve the economy. That's Job 1 for every right-wing lowlife in Congress.
I know which 535 jobs we can start with.
jadedj: Ah yes, the bear trap. Sounds good.
Jess: Yes, Reservoir Dogs comes to mind too. Exile to Fresno -- nah, that's too severe even for Tom Coburn.
SW: Yup, that's Coburn's motive. Power, and the fact that these power plays are guaranteed to bring a mass orgasm to the Republican base.
Randal: 535? Hmmm, what could you be referring to?
