The Downward Spiral of Rudy Giuliani: from America's Mayor to Donald Trump's Bitch

  1. OK, well yeah, it's sinking in...sinking in that there is no limit to dumb-assery in high places. Or did I miss Obama's swearing in back in '00?

  2. He must think Trump supporters are so stupid that they don't know that Bush was president when 9/11 happened. Wait......

  3. Why am I not surprised you picked up this and ran with it ASAP. It wasn't a tough transition for Rudy from GOP "Bitch" to "Trump Bitch". His screws were loose back when he was US attorney in New York in the 1980s. He did have a high conviction rate, but I wonder how many rights he ignored in the process.

  4. Anonymous: Yup, Obama has been president since 2000, and he's the one who invaded Iraq and Afghanistan in response to the 9/11 attacks, which were masterminded by Saddam Hussein.

Jerry: Correct -- Trump and Giuliani know exactly who their audience is and what they'll swallow hook line and sinker.

MRM: I liked Giuliani in the late '90s and early aughts, without knowing much about him. He had a likeable public personality (appearing on SNL numerous times), and seemed like a real standup guy after the 9/11 attacks; i.e. "America's Mayor." But even then there were rumors about how ruthless he was, and that the reason New York City transformed from a hotbed of violent crime to an almost-sterile theme park when he was mayor, was because of ruthless police tactics and massive coverups of police brutality. I haven't been to NYC since the early '90s, but supposedly Times Square is squeaky clean and family friendly at all hours of the day and night. If that's true, it's hard to imagine.

  5. Rudy's career is finished, ever since he dumped his wife for some sweet young thing, his kids hate him so much they wont be seen in the same city as him and no one can hope to get into office if it's known his own family hates him/wont even pose with him.

I guess he's going for a future appointment

  6. Erik: Maybe President Trump will appoint him Attorney General.
