First Tunisia, Then Egypt. Is Wisconsin Next?
Wisconsin’s knuckle-dragging governor, Scott Walker, wants to take Wisconsin back to the glory days of the early 1900s, before those commie labor unions ruined America. Working people don't have any “rights.” Those lowly peasants should be grateful they have a job.
Governor Teabag wants to balance the state’s budget on the backs of people who work for a living. He wants to eliminate state workers’ rights to bargain collectively. And he’s threatened to call in the National Guard if there’s a walkout.
Yesterday, thirteen thousand protesters descended on the state capitol to show their disagreement. The union-busting governor is downplaying the number of demonstrators as just a small percentage of Wisconsin’s population. Funny, they never spin it that way when forty teajobs gather on a street corner with their mis-spelled signs.
Even while the teabagging governor tries to shrug off the demonstrations, other Republicans are backtracking and making “adjustments” to the proposed law.
As one commenter says at the end of the linked article:
“The tea tard is limiting government with government intervention!”
