George Soros: He’s More EVIL than You EVER Imagined

Thank God for WorldNetDaily. If you think Fox News is too liberal and Sarah Palin uses too many big words, WorldNetDaily provides constant warnings on the REAL threats to America.

Everyone knows George Soros is a socialist who wants to destroy the free enterprise system. And it’s common knowledge that liberal pundits and bloggers — without exception — get their daily propaganda instructions from George Soros. None of us would dare to write or say anything without receiving permission from our Grand Master.

But it’s even worse than you thought. This exclusive report from Whistleblower Magazine is titled: “Evil emperor behind attacks on America. Most dangerous man in the world exposed in stunning report.”

Every American needs to know this!

Instead of trying to interpret or paraphrase this dire warning, I’ll just let the author — WorldNetDaily Managing Editor David Kupelian — scare us in his own words:

“Soros, like Obama, is wired very differently than most of us. He rejects and reviles most things decent Americans regard as good and sacred, and he tends to favor everything rotten: He wants to legalize drugs. He supports euthanasia. He's for socialism and opposes free-market capitalism. He’s for devaluing America's currency, telling the Financial Times last year 'an orderly decline of the dollar is actually desirable.' He supports the destruction of American sovereignty in favor of global governance. He detests conservative talk radio, Fox News and WorldNetDaily, and funds organizations that constantly attack the only free press America currently has.”

And that’s not all:

“If it's immoral, subversive or harmful to America, Soros favors it, organizes it and funds it. If it's noble and freedom-producing, like free markets and small government, he despises it and creates organizations to undermine and ultimately destroy it. This issue of Whistleblower shines intense daylight on all of this. Make no mistake. George Soros' goal is nothing less than to overthrow the United States of America and its Constitution. Fortunately, armed with the kind of information and insight found in this issue of Whistleblower, there's real hope we can engage and defeat the forces of the atheistic left which, for some strange and ungodly reason, always seem to be offended by everything good.”

WorldNetDaily founder Joseph Farah — aka “He Who Gave Birth to the Birthers” — said:

“Soros is an America hater. There's no other way to put it. He recently said only America stands in the way of globalist progress and he's going to do everything in his power to bring America to its knees.”

Uh oh — kneepads for America. OK, you’ve been warned. Be very very afraid.

Strange Bedfellows: Teabaggers and a Militant Russian Nationalist

Igor Panarin, a radical Russian professor, has been predicting for years that the United States would collapse sometime during the year 2010. The shattered remains of America will be divided into about five or six regions.

Southwestern states because of their heavy Hispanic populations will merge with Mexico. Alaska will revert back to Russian control. The poorest of the Midwestern states will probably form their own nation, and the northern Midwest will either merge with Canada or form its own nation. The northeast will become part of “global capital and finance” based in London. And the West Coast will become part of China, of course, because of the large Chinese population and the fact that those Left-Coasters are using computers that were made in China.

The above tinfoil-hat rantings don’t have much of an audience even inside Russia, let alone anywhere else. But now the absent-minded professor has found a new cult following inside the United States. Guess who.

I guess these pitiful teabirthers need all the friends they can get. And since they obviously hate their own country and everything it stands for, they might as well hitch themselves to a Russian crackpot who wants America to collapse.

Joseph Farah, founder of WorldNetDaily (Home of the Afterbirther™), is one of Panarin’s followers. Farah says he isn’t “buying into Panarin's entire prediction” but says “there's something to it.”

Panarin made a recent trip to the United States and was surrounded by worshippers in Houston and Washington, D.C.

Question of the day: What’s the difference between a Greek Orthodox priest and a Muslim terrorist? Tomato, Tomahto, right?

Hell, them furriners with their dorky hats and funny robes, they all look alike. And what the hail are they doin’ here anyways?

In Tampa, a Greek Orthodox priest, who was visiting the U.S., got lost and asked Marine reservist Jasen D. Bruce for directions. The Marine conked the priest on the head with a tire iron and then chased him for several blocks, shouting “Terrorist!”

Now, what was all that liberal claptrap about military recruiters lowering their acceptance standards.

Most of Us Are Too Insular, Too Closed-Minded

Including YOU. And me.

This column by Nicholas Kristof is entitled The Daily Me. (The phrase was coined by Nicholas Negroponte of M.I.T.)

Now that we all have access to the Internet, with billions of websites just a few clicks away, what news sites do we surf? Most of us try to confirm our existing beliefs by visiting those news sites that we already agree with. As Kristof says, “When we go online, each of us is our own editor, our own gatekeeper. We select the kind of news and opinions that we care most about…we like to embed ourselves in the reassuring womb of an echo chamber.”

And unfortunately — this was the most disappointing part — it doesn’t count as being open minded or “expanding your horizons” when you visit extremist websites that are the total opposite of your viewpoint, just so you can ridicule them. Damn it! It’s fun, but it doesn’t count.

So when pro-business pro-development people visit an Earth First! website, or liberals tune in to Rush Limbaugh, they’re not reaching out to the other side or examining other viewpoints. They’re just reaffirming their own beliefs by exclaiming “can you believe this shit?!?!?!?!?”

I’ll probably continue to check out WorldNetDaily, Townhall.com and a few extreme rightwing bloggers who aren’t worth naming. But I won’t pretend it’s for educational purposes; it’s just for laughs. And for that perverse joy in being appalled, horrified, that some sickfuck can actually be this — ahem — but I digress…

Almost half of all Americans now live in a county that votes Democrat or Republican by a landslide. In the 1970s this was true for only one third of Americans. We’re becoming more segregated by beliefs.

A survey of twelve countries found that Americans are the least likely to discuss politics with people of different viewpoints. Most surprisingly (to me anyway), the higher the education level, the more closed-minded a person becomes. High school dropouts were the most willing to discuss issues with people they disagreed with. College graduates “managed to shelter themselves from uncomfortable perspectives.”

Kristof ends his column with: “So perhaps the only way forward is for each of us to struggle on our own to work out intellectually with sparring partners whose views we deplore. Think of it as a daily mental workout analogous to a trip to the gym; if you don’t work up a sweat, it doesn’t count. Now excuse me while I go and read The Wall Street Journal’s editorial page.”
