Third World Tinpot Dictators Scold United States over Human Rights Violations

What???

How can they say this about The Greatest Country In The World the Beacon of Freedom?!?

In the ongoing civil war between the citizens of Ferguson, Missouri and the occupying army (formerly known as the Ferguson Police Department) China, Russia, Egypt and Iran are all taking potshots at the United States of America.

And of course those limp-wristed bed-wetters over at Amnesty International had to get in on the act:

The United States can't tell other countries to improve their records on policing and peaceful assembly if it won't clean up its own human rights record.

Oh go hug a tree, you bunch of simpering sissies.

And let's answer, for once and for all, the vicious rumor that America imprisons more people than any other country in the world.  Balderdash!  Those people aren't prisoners.   They're just a bunch of un-American subversives who Hate Freedom.

America’s Civil Rights record has been a point for both allies and enemies for years, especially after rhetoric with being the “defenders of democracy” etc. Nazi “back-atya” propaganda forced FDR to make some changes in our Civil Rights policies like integrating the factories. Incidents like the murder of Emmet Till, The Bombing of the 16 Baptist Church in Birmingham Alabama, as well as the actions of Bull Conners cops were top international news events and both allies and enemies rubbed it in the US’s noses in both news and in the UN.

The reputation was really taking it’s toll at the beginning of the Cold War when newly liberated African Nations being courted for treaties and trade agreements found they could not get proper accommodations per their status as heads of state because Washington DC was a Segregated City, and they were treated like any other Black Americans. This caused the State Department to petition the Warren Court to decide for Brown and end Segregation otherwise the US could lose those Countries to the Communist (who had no such laws).

It isn’t that other nations don’t have race problems, it’s just that they don’t lecture everybody else on Morals like the US.

Jerry: That's right, Real Murcans only.

Erik: Good points. I'd forgotten that the U.S. was condemned by other countries for our civil rights violations during the early to mid 1900s. I remember a cartoon, sometime during Clinton's presidency, when we were condemning China for human rights violations, and an American ambassador was visiting Beijing to talk about it. The cartoon showed somebody telling the Chinese premiere "the ambassador from the country with the world's largest prison population is here to lecture you on your human rights policy."
