Jerry: No such luck. But Costa Rica is eternally grateful.
He is probably afraid to transport all his drugs down there,
Jerry: I always heard Dominican Republic was Limbaugh's favorite vacation place, where he'd go and binge on drugs, prostitutes, etc., stay totally under the radar, and then come back to the States and resume his righteous Christian persona.
He is not the only righteous Christian persona to do that. In fact, it seems like the ones who make the most noise, engage in such activities the greatest.
Jerry: Spot on. There's a definite inverse ratio between the amount of righteous fire-and-brimstone preaching a person does and this same person's actual behavior.
I think I sent you Tom where Limbaugh is losing both his audience and sponsors. Ever since he called that college student a variety of slut and whore names, major sponsors have pulled out and are not being replaced by other major ones (anybody remember Chico's Bail Bonds?), Major stations are pulling out and if replaced are being replaced by minor ones.
A kick in the pocketbook isn't as fulfilling as a kick in the ass, but it's a nice start!

Erik: True, he's lost a lot of corporate sponsors. But I think he's wealthy enough that a kick in the pocketbook won't have much impact. And he probably has almost as many useful idiots listening to his blatherings as he did before. And that's OK too; at least it keeps those people off the streets.
