Bu, Tom according to Cheney's Own Book (and *ahem* who would be a better authority) Iraq was a smashing success, an unparalleled victory until President Kenyan Marxist Anti-Colonalist Jihad Barack Osama ruined everything.

When this old bastard dies I will be unable to observe the protocol after someone dies when you have to say nice things about them..

Grung: Yup, you nailed it :)

Jess: The only "Thank God that F$%#!&%#!#!#!!! finally died!" post I ever did was when Robert Novak died. When or if Cheney ever dies, I'll probably write something even more vengeful and inflammatory.

I find Europe doesn't follow that tradition, when someone I didn't like dies I look to Europe and beyond. All bets were off when Rush Limbaugh trashed Ted Kennedy when he died.

Erik: I didn't realize that, but it makes sense. Foreign news sites are much more accurate and uncensored when it comes to covering American news and politics, so it would figure that when somebody they hated dies, they don't hold back their venom.

I am reminded that when Conservative (Racist) Columnist James Kilpatrick died in 2010 (famous for Point/Counterpoint), a young conservative posted a glowing tribute to him and his contributions to the Conservative Cause. Both Me and Dr. Loewen (Lies my Teacher taught me) wrote in the comments section about his articles denouncing Civil Rights and supporting White Supremacy.

My Bookmark of that site quite working not too long after that.

PS I see Nick Von Hoffman is still alive, we need him more then ever, he would have never taken the Crap off guys like Buchanan and O'Reilly, he would have set them straight.

Erik: I never knew much about James Kilpatrick, other than his Point/Counterpoint with Shana Alexander. I always liked that segment, plus the SNL spoof that it inspired ("Jane, you ignorant slut!"). I haven't thought of that name in decades; I had no idea he lived until 2010.
