Jerry: Nah, he'd be too moderate and too kind-hearted to be a bona fide teabagger.
That's true. He only wanted to make the servants. Teabaggers would want to make them slaves
Jerry: Then again, millions of the original natives ended up getting killed by the invaders, whether it was intentional or through disease epidemics that they had no resistance to.
Then again he was sent with a mission, "make money for the crown any way you can or we slap you in irons until you pay us back for the trip we financed!"
If it wasn't him, it would have been some other European - Slavery was inevitable for these high holy Christian Countries.

I don't think a lot of people knew the colonist would give the gift of blankets to the Native Americans, of course they would spit in the blankets first knowing that in months that disease could wipe out whole villages easier and cheaper then guns.
