Second Thoughts on Health Care Reform
I don’t change my mind very often, but I’ve suddenly realized — Socialized Medicine is not the answer. Do you want a politician standing between YOU and Your Doctor??? A government takeover of our medical system is Wrong for America!
Please watch the following 4-minute video. You’ll find it just as riveting — and frightening! — as I did. After you’ve been properly horrified by this nightmare scenario, surf around the other menus of this group’s website.
This organization is Let Freedom Ring. It's made up of decent Real Americans who want to restore America's moral fiber and bring Freedom back to this great nation.
Enjoy the video.

I viewed and posted...though I will say I couldn't sit through the whole fucking video.
These idiots have been lulled into believing that private health insurance companies competing against one another will see to their needs more efficiently than the gov't.
I'm not sure gov't would be any better at it - and frankly I'm a little skeptical after working for the fed for almost 27 years - but I ain't so ignant that I think the private sector has our best interests in mind. They fucking don't.
Jesus H. Christ. The idiots who buy off on this shit...
Jacked up full of shit. I really hate this crap "suddenly your healthcare won't just be between you and your doctor".
IT ALREADY ISN'T! It's between you, your doctor and the twit sitting in a cubicle who MAYBE graduated from a 2 year college, telling you and your doctor what treatment you may...MAY...have.
Sick. Of. The. Right. Wing. Whiny-assed. Bullshit. And even more sick of the non-thinking idiots in this country who believe every word of it, even though personal experience tells them differently.
Oh my God. That is too funny.
And sad to say, probably effective.
Who wants freedom! We want liberty!
Carlos: It's scary how many dense gullible people are out there, ready to fall for every piece of bullshit that gets thrown at them.
Bee: It's amazing. Anyone who thinks health care is between a patient and their doctor is living in a 1950s sitcom.
J: Yup, funny and scary (that people will fall for it) at the same time.
Lew: Their version of "freedom" means the Patriot Act is fine, but government-paid health insurance is too intrusive.
The government is going to take away our capitalist health insurance and then they're going to take away our guns.
Sure, there's much less need for healthcare if nobody's getting shot but I think that dodges the point.
You had me going there for a minute Tom.
Somebody needs to remind these people that we've had Medicare for over 40 years. The U.K. has had their system for over 60 years and I haven't heard horror stories from them.
During the upcoming break in congress people need to get on these "blue dog" democrats and smack them into line. As the republican solution is no solution it's time to step on their heads and get the job done. Bipartisanship be damned!
Frankly, I don't think these Patriots® go far enough. I clicked on one of their affiliates, WeNeedAFence.com, and it too is woefully vague. Each Real American® should have a fence built around him or her, thereby preventing socialism or illegal aliens from affecting their various American Activities.
Thomas: Our health care, guns and Free Enterprise are all under siege. These here socialists are taking over the country and ruining everything we hold sacred.
Demeur: Damn right, bipartisanship be damned. That ship sailed a long time ago. I think these Blue Dog Democrats are the biggest villain right now. We expect Republicans to be a bunch of backstabbing assholes. But now, "Et Tu Democrats?"
Randal: That group is linked to every redneck Biblehump site I've ever heard of and then some. Focus on the Family, keepswarthypeopleout.com, you name it.
But what about the FLOW CHART??!!
My GOd!! That awful confounding GOP flow chart scares me so much I want to give the insurance companies lots more money...even AFTER they drop me!
We must always act on our fears. That's what make America what it is.
I'm glad I finaly made it over here, Tom.
Dave: Ah yes, the Flow Chart. Flow charts and scary nightmare scenarios -- that's the way to keep the peons in line.
"We must always act on our fears. That's what make America what it is."
LOL. Sad but true.
