If We Weren’t Quagmired in Iraqistan…
You remember the scene from “It’s a Wonderful Life” — George Bailey is about to commit suicide when his Guardian Angel shows him all of the lives he’s touched and how different the town would have been without George Bailey.
In a perverse variation on that scene: Imagine what a different country this would be if we weren’t spending $9.7 billion per month in Iraq and Afghanistan. The total cost of both wars is $3.7 trillion, and that’s a low estimate. That’s $12,000 for each American.
Do you think YOUR $12,000 was well spent? Did you get your money’s worth?
With our deteriorating public “education” system, crumbling infrastructure, firefighters and police officers being laid off for lack of funding — surely there would’ve been a better use for that $3.7 trillion.
In other news: Sorry, all you New Age hippies who keep daydreaming about wind energy and solar power — Wind power is NOT a feasible energy source. This has been proven in a study funded by the Koch Brothers. Whew! The Kochsuckers’ oil empire is still safe.
In a related story, the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association has concluded — after an exhaustive study — that vegetarians are all a bunch of pencilneck sissies.

Thank God for the Koch Brothers and their tradition of tireless research.
Let's hear it for pencil neck sissies everywhere. <<from a pencil neck sissy
Glad to see the Kochsuckers are spending their ill gotten gains wisely.

As for the Koch brothers, T. Boone Pickens is investing his billions into Solar and Wind. Let the Billionaires fight it out and may the best tax-ducking, lobbiest owning asshole win!

Plenty of war, and plenty of wealth for the already-rich. How long will it be before the riots start in force here?
Fine, when you get killed by the Al-Qaeda under your bed, don't have you ghost come crying to me.
Like Erik said so well, LOL.
If a genie were to grant me three wishes, one of them would be for Roger Moore and Bill Maher to do a documentary-satire movie about the Koch brothers. The cast would include Chevy Chase and Larry Hagman. It's a shame Leslie Neilsen (The Naked Gun series) couldn't be in it too.
yeah only GE is allowed to be the "Big Energy" company. Obama and China said.
Who's getting rich off of Libya? We aren't done yet more money to made when we go into Syria.
J: Where would we be without them?
Jess: The Kochsuckers know how to spend their (our) money.
Erik: How sad is that when T. Boone Pickens is the good guy.
JR: Who knows, maybe 2012 will bring the American Spring.
Randal: An al Qaeda agent tried to sneak under my bed but he got killed by the Communist who was already there.
SW: LOL. I could picture those three playing a good Kochsucker role.
