The Top Censored/Under-Reported Stories of 2008
WorldNetDaily is taking a readers’ survey of the most under-reported news stories of 2008. Now, before you click on the link, you have to get in the proper mindset. This is very important. So sit back, relax, clear your mind of all extraneous thoughts, and tell yourself over and over that:
The Earth is 6,000 years old.
Human life is sacred from the point of conception to the moment of birth.
The Homosexual Agenda is by far the gravest threat to America.
Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim fanatic and a terrorist.
There are millions of scientists who don’t believe in global warming, but they’ve all been threatened and silenced by environmental thugs.
America needs to bring regime change to Iran, Syria, Pakistan, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, Venezuela, Ecuador…
OK. Ready? Click.
Enjoy.

I'm always curious why they are not all flat-earthers, too..
Happy New Year, Tom.
They know the truth about Obama's birth! They read the emails!
And those violent homosexuals! What's up with that?
And BHO loves terrorists! Can't get enough of these guys!
Mike: I'm surprised "the round Earth is a myth" wasn't one of the choices in their readers' poll. Happy New Year.
PITS: No doubt that terrorist Trojan Horse Obama was born in Africa and his mission in life is to destroy America. And those violent homosexuals -- it'll be the media's fault when those people destroy our country.
Jesus H. Christ. What a crock of shit. There were way too many Ann Coulter advertisements for me to stay too long, for fear I’d punch my monitor. (I harbor seething loathing for that loud-mouthed, despicable cunt.)
You’ve probably seen this before, but check this Louis Black video about gay marriage and the homosexual agenda. Fucking hilarious.
WND describes their site, in part as such: "….an independent news company dedicated to uncompromising journalism, seeking truth and justice and revitalizing the role of the free press as a guardian of liberty.”
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
(I took out a few lines for ease of reading!)
Then I saw links like “What are most important non-fiction books of all time, besides the Bible?” and I puked. ;-)
Carlos: WorldNetDaily is a real hoot. I have them linked under the Comedy heading at the bottom of my left sidebar. I go there occasionally, partly for a good laugh and partly so I can see what the wingtards are up to.
I haven't clicked on that Louis Black link yet, but I'll check it out. I might have seen it before; that guy is really a riot.
(shudder) OY! What a bunch of maroons.
Thanks for that, Tom, I'm gonna need the unisom to get to sleep tonight now...:)
Bee: Oh, it's maroon; I thought it was moran :)
Yup, that website is pretty funny in its own sick way.
How about how people in Palestine are currenlty celebrating x-mas in Gaza.
This is a crazy world. How can Christian Palestinians celebrate xmas in Gaza and the holy land when Irsaeli planes have killed more than 300 civilians and 30 children and 20 women. When will governments realize that people in my region want to live in Peace and co exist. Good hearted Americans like you can end this bloodshed.
call your congress and representive now to put pressure on Israel to end this maddness.
Your list is funny because it is true. Oh, what a great year it has been to not be a conservative lol. The best part was that their list was just as irrational as your making fun of them!
Apparently, according to the commenters, our problems are caused by the millions upon millions of illegals. If only we had giant fences, we wouldn't have anything to complain about because all those illegals won't get to cast their vote for the Islamic Manchurian from Africa.
Ali: You're right, that's not much of a celebration they're having in Gaza right now. Someday the U.S. will have to stop enabling Israel. If we didn't keep pouring billions into Israel's "defense," they might have to actually practice diplomacy and negotiation, just like most other countries do.
DB: I guess when something is that irrational, the only thing to do is make fun of it. Or try to ignore it.
Randal: That's an idea, a giant hi-tech fence along the Mexican border. That'll keep 'em out. Oh, wait...
True Tom, thats why Im appealing to Americans to put pressure on yoru government to end this atrocity. Israel is acting as bully in the region and no one is stopping the injustice that has been falling on Palestinians the past 60 years.
I was torn between two. But like all who live in democracy, I made my choice.
Speaking of polls, I put one up on my blog about Gaza.
I'm having a very hard time dealing with what is going on there.
Ali, Enemy: Yes, it's very hard to fathom what's going on in Israel/Palestine right now. Israel and the U.S. both seem totally unaccountable to the rest of the world.
The oppression, depression and forced-labor aspects of our record-breaking winter (ahem) weather had me down, but I'll be darned if your post and the link didn't get me laughing. Now, add my sides aching to all the other muscle aches and pains I'm suffering with.
"Charges that Barack Obama is not constitutionally qualified to be president, because he's not a natural born citizen"
Kicked right off with hearty belly laughs. This has got to be a put on, right?
"Failure by the Bush White House and the Democratic majority in Congress to finish the border fences"
Fell off chair, I was laughing so hard. But then, laughing with tears in my eyes. They want hundreds of millions more for something that hasn't worked and won't work? Unbelievable.
"The true cause of the subprime mortgage meltdown"
Slapped the floor, laughing harder and harder. Wife came downstairs to see if I'd finally lost it.
Settling down some, I told her I hadn't lost it, but I now know who has: the brain trust at weirdnutdilly.com
Excuse me now, I've got to find the linament. We've got four to six more inches of the white s--t due in tomorrow, to add to the 10 we got buried in today, bringing our season total to 63 inches.
SW: These rightwing sites are good for a laugh. That probably isn't their intention, which makes it all the funnier.
63 inches, damn that's a lot of snow. Port Angeles has had quite a lot (for us) but nowhere near that amount. Happy shoveling :)
Tom, yes the world has gone blind about the killing of civilians. I have to say that I was impressed during the first 2 days when I saw actual images of killed Palestinians civilians on CNN International. Because such Meida outlets are bery bias and barely show images of killed children. But then they stopped showing such reports as this will turn the table on Israel.
My only hope is ordinary people like you and EOTR to spread the voice of Peace. I did post a link in my blog on what Americans can do
http://alidahmash.blogspot.com/2008/12/how-can-you-end-atrocities-in-gaza.html
Too bad Ron Paul wasn't given the attention he deserved. He was the only candidate who is a TRUE PATRIOT !
Blarrrrrrrffff!!!! What a truly vomitworthy link.
Appropriately, the first thing to appear on my screen when I went to the link was an ad for a colon cleanser. Vomit and diarrhea should be natural reactions from normal people to all the Ann Coulter ads, anyway.
"What was the most under-reported major news of 2008?"
Well, anything anti-Democrat or anti-left that didn't get plastered all over the news for days on end, OF COURSE! (DAMN you, "liberal media", for foiling our attempts to obfuscate truth!!!)
"The true cause of the subprime mortgage meltdown"
Why... that would be the mere existence of the Democratic party, of course. Or maybe it's still Bill Clinton... There was that eight-year stretch where the Republicans didn't have control of the White House, after all. Anything that happened during that stretch of time is fair game, right? (But the other 20 years since 1980 of Republicans controlling the White House... off limits!)
"Violent actions of homosexual protesters against Mormon and Catholic churches"
Eh?
"Other"
This category would include the items you listed in your post, Tom... the really OBVIOUS ones that WND didn't mention, just because they are SO obvious! Heh!
The comment section at that link is truly frightening. Who hijacked our country, or who is hijacking it? I think many of them must come to WorldNet Daily... Let's just hope the 08 elections were the beginning of a successful effort to foil their hijacking attempt.
I don't what kinds of meds those people are on but I'd certainly like to have the tinfoil concession.
Ali: I'll check out your post. Thanks for posting about that. I don't think the American "media" is gonna be much help. Everybody should make regular visits to foreign news sites (Al-jazerra, BBC, even Canadian newspapers' websites) for more objective reporting.
Kate: I disagree with Ron Paul on a lot of things, but I respect him because he stands for something and his opinions don't shift with the political winds.
Snave: Ah yes, those violent homosexuals. They've been terrorizing the whole country and that damn liberal media just isn't reporting it.
And of course the financial meltdown was caused by those lazy shiftless minorities. In the late '70s, there was a crackdown on redlining by banks. They had to actually start lending money to those lazy welfare-Cadillac-driving rabble-rousers, and that's why we're in this predicament now. A few commies and treehuggers are blaming Wall Street CEOs, but us Real Americans know the real culprit.
Lew: Meds, you say? I thought they were just high on Jesus.
Tom, thank God for having the internet. check www.ifamericanknew.com
www.commondreams.org
Ali: Those are both great sites. I have both of them linked in my sidebar; but it's been a few days since I've remembered to click on them, until I saw your comment. I have so many sites linked, I lose track of them.
Tom, "happy shoveling" is a contradiction in terms.
snave, you accurately chart their order of battle in shifting blame and assigning guilt. It's amazing how willing the liberal media often are in relaying those lame charges.
Tom, yeah I know, Im just overwhelmed right now with checking the Blogs that are against this barbaroc attack on the Palestinians, blogging is a full time job ;)
Where did you find this rag? LOL! Priceless.
Ricardo: Yup, good old WorldNetDaily. They're always good for a laugh.
