Pink Slip Rick Scott
Pink Slip Rick Scott is a website sponsored by Florida Watch Action.
(H/T to TomCat at Politics Plus where I first saw this.)
Out of all the unpopular teabagging governors who got “elected” last November by razor thin margins — Scott Walker, Rick Snyder, John Kasich — Rick Scott is at the top (or bottom) of the heap. I don’t know whether there’s a move to recall him, but Florida’s voters are finding ways to demonstrate their Buyer’s Remorse.
A few weeks ago Rick Scott was trying to show that he was a plain ol’ working guy and not just another sheltered millionaire gouging the public. He demonstrated this by “working” behind the counter at a donut shop. A bunch of disenchanted voters came in and, one by one, reached across the counter and handed him a pink slip.
Alarmed by his rock-bottom approval ratings, Rick Scott cranked out a bunch of robocalls to remind voters of what an awesome guy he is; even though the next election is eons away. Florida Watch Action hoisted Rick Scott on his own petard by sending the robocalls back to Rick Scott.
Let Rachel Maddow tell you about it.

Don't know how the recall of Scott is going but Ohio has sent a loud message with 1.5 million signatures on it to eliminate HB 5.
Yeah. And now Czar Kashitch I is crying "can't we all just get along?"
No, we can't. We got more signatures than that slimy little punk got votes. And we'll remove the splintered stick he rammed Ohio working people with in November.
Demeur: I'm enjoying the twin squirmfests of Rick Scott and John Kasich.
JR: I hope Kasich himself gets removed too, along with his splintered stick.
Kasich is a tool, as is Walker, as is Rick Scott... Glad to see people are fighting against this kind of thing, or to quote the title of an old Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds album, "Kicking Against the Pricks".
I just have one question, and it's bothered me all along. Why isn't Scott behind bars instead of free to screw up a state as governor?
I have a strong hunch that if Scott and his henchmen are subjected to close enough scrutiny for awhile, illegal activities will start showing up. Same goes for Kasich and Snyder.
Indictments followed by convictions trump recalls, and they can be so soul satisfying. :)
Snave: People are fighting back in little ways -- recalling 2 senators in Wisconsin, getting ready to overturn Kasich's union-busting law in a referendum and handing pink slips to Rick Scott. I hope these small gestures start adding up.
SW: That's an excellent question, for which I have no answer.
