Dozens Killed in Ohio Bridge Collapse; John Boehner Among the Dead
Ironically, it’s the same bridge that President Obama used as a photo op several weeks ago, when he was stressing the importance of fixing America’s crumbling infrastructure.
Just yesterday, Republicans again defeated a bill that would have provided $60 billion for infrastructure repair and would have put tens of thousands of Americans back to work immediately. And now the inevitable has happened.
John Boehner’s wife (or was it one of his mistresses?) sobbed:
“He hardly ever used that bridge. He just assumed that when it collapsed, only the riffraff would get killed.”
Just a split second before John Boehner’s car hit the water, somebody snapped this photo of him.
Was John Boehner crying because of guilt? Maybe in his final moment, he realized he had been wrong to keep using millions of Americans as hostages solely for the purpose of making Obama look bad for next year’s election.
Or was he crying because he knew he was just seconds away from getting hoisted on his own petard?
Or was he crying just because, well, because John Boehner was always crying?
We’ll never know.

We could only hope Tom. We could only hope.
Hoisted by one's own petard as the expression goes.
Maybe he was crying because he misplaced his flask.
And his pack of Winston Lights.
He was crying for Argentina. He sure as shit wasn't crying for America.
Or one can drive off a bridge

Or one can go dangerously unmedicated and uneducated.
You are a walking (presumably while knuckle dragging) argument for strengthening both our educational and our mental health system.
Dammit Tom, you had me going for a second there and then BAM it's not at all true. Yeah I went there Lisa, Jeanie whoever the fuck you are and am not ashamed at having done so. I'm going to find new, invisible, internet friends if you keep giving me heart attacks like this Tom. Oh and here comes concern troll Lisa all concernstipated(thks JMG) about something that happened last fuckin century.
Demeur: Yup, there's always hope.
SW: LOL, that would certainly bring on a crying jag.
J: One last puff for the road, so to speak.
jadedj: He loves American lobbyists; he just hates the rest of us.
Suzan: Yup, if only.
Erik: I sure remember that day.
JR: LOL.
Jess: Had you going there for a minute. I like "concernstipated."
I guess all you intellects need some splaining to. The reference was comparing driving off a bridge to driving off a cliff.
I guess those 20.00 toll fees and the federal gas taxes the middle class pay to use those bridges and roads each day to go to work each day aren't being used very wisely.
Nothing like destroying the middle class with high energy prices and more fees.
