Obama’s Quick Response to Hurricane Sandy: It’s a Conspiracy!!!!!!
The name Michael Brown might not ring a bell. You probably remember him as Brownie, as in “Brownie you’re doing a heckuva job.” Yup, the disgraced FEMA director from 2005 who stood around with his thumbs up his ass while New Orleans drowned — he’s Baaaack.
Regarding President Obama’s response to the Hurricane Sandy devastation, Brownie said “Why was this so quick?”
WTF??? This dumbfuck would probably look at a passing car and say “Wow! That carriage doesn’t even have a horse pulling it, and yet it, it’s MOVING!”
Heckuvajob Brownie has been spending the last few weeks poring over details of the 9/11/12 terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, hoping and praying that he’ll find something to pin on Obama. He took time out from his busy schedule for an interview yesterday. He objected to the “premature” decision to shut down New York City’s transportation infrastructure.
“I don’t object…they should be doing all of that. But in the meantime, various news commentators…[and others] in New York are shrugging their shoulders, saying, ‘What’s this all about?’ It’s premature [when] the brunt of the storm won’t happen until later this afternoon.”
He also objected to Obama giving a press conference on the previous day:
“My guess is, he wants to get ahead of it — he doesn’t want anybody to accuse him of not being on top of it or not paying attention or playing politics in the middle of it. He probably figured Sunday was a good day to do a press conference. Obama probably could’ve had a little more impact doing it today…One thing he’s gonna be asked is, why did he jump on this so quickly and go back to D.C. so quickly when in…Benghazi, he went to Las Vegas? Why was this so quick?… At some point, somebody’s going to ask that question.”
[sigh]

The Article failed to mention that Brownie lied on his Resume to get the FEMA job, that he had little to none Emergency Management Experience at all.
Another connected party hack getting the benefit of Republican Affirmative Action

Nothing better could have happened than Chris Christie's comments today.
Nobody accused Brownie of acting too quick in New Orleans. He wouldn't know a quick response if it jumped up and bit him in the ass.
Erik: I think Brown's biggest claim to fame was being president of an Arabian Horse association, or something.
Mr. C: I was glad to see Christie praising Obama's handling of the crisis. He probably ruined his chances for 2016 though.
Jerry: Ain't that the truth.
Got that Benghazi talking point in didn't he? I would have been ashamed to show my face in public had I done what he did. Wingnut welfare aloows this assclown to spout this bullshit, instead of being behind bars for criminal negligence like his buddy commander cuckoo bananas and the rest of his admin.
Brownie is the prime example of what republicans do to prove that government does not work -- they put incompetent people in charge.
Jess: Brownie criticizing Obama's response, that's like Wrong Way Corrigan criticizing somebody else's football performance.
Jerry: Exactly. They want the most inept people to be put in charge, just so they can say "see, government is the problem, not the solution."
I would hope that a current President would learn something from the mistakes of the Presidents who came before. Jumping on the FEMA Aid thing before the fact certainly made sense to me. And apparently it has and will make a difference in the recovery.
But never let it be said the Right will not make fools out of themselves trying to may political hay be second guessing even the good decisions of their perceived enemies.
MRM: You're right, Obama definitely did the right thing by jumping on this promptly. This makes him the un-Bush; the un-Brownie.
The Benghazi thing is bad, make no mistake. However, Brownie bringing it up seems laughable.
Seeing how Benghazi has become the fallback for the GOP in the last couple of weeks, and seeing how it isn't getting the kind of traction the GOP wants, it seems to me their constant talk about it shows little more than how desperate they are.
Seeing Obama navigating the Sandy crisis effectively and seeing the positive comments from Chris Christie must be driving the Republicans crazy.
Their arguments are falling apart, and we can hope it is all happening just at the right time.
Snave: No doubt the Republicans are pulling their hair out over Obama's fast professional response to Sandy and Chris Christie's praising of Obama, especially since Christie was Romney's first choice for VP.
