God Has Spoken to Marco Rubio: “Drop Out, Loser!”
Marco Rubio has finally left the GOP clown car, saying:
“It is not God's plan that I be president in 2016 or maybe ever.”
Apparently the voters of Florida — Rubio's home state — weren't too keen on the idea either. Marco Rubio is every bit as mean-spirited as Donald Trump and just as batshit crazy as Ted Cruz; he just does a better job of hiding it behind his smarmy car-salesman persona.
Good fuckin' riddance.

No shit, Marco, you ain't part of the Guy-in-the-sky's plan. Is God a helluva jokster, or is he/she/it just damned fickle, or what? On reflection, I think having the blessing of God is about the only thing Drumpf hasn't claimed...or, Have I missed something?
YUP!!!
Fuck every one of them.
Rubio needs to go get a job in the private sector he can avoid doing.
jadedj: I know what the deal is with Drumpf. He sure doesn't talk or act like what a Christian is supposed to stand for, and yet a lot of Biblethumpers are falling for him. Then again, nobody ever accused those people of using logic or reason. I'm just glad to be rid of Rubio. I was always paranoid that he'd come from out of nowhere to get the nomination and be the GOP's knight in shining armor. Now we just have Cruz and Drumpf to worry about.
One Fly: My sentiments exactly.
Jim: Nah, I think he's happier living off of people's tax dollars while preaching about free enterprise and self reliance.
Well I heard Cruz once say at a rally it was God's will that he be president! So someone has a more dependable God then the other. Now I hear Rubio's going to try to be Governor if he can't be reelected. It just goes to show how self absorbed these Teabaggers are because they catch that insane wave during a apathetic turn out and now they think the people love them. It would be interesting to see if Cruz can be reelected as well if he doesn't win.
Rubio is just a nicer looking less whiny sounding Cruz anyway.
Erik
And now we are left with two whackos and one guy who seems to have gotten off on the wrong floor.
It always cracks me up that the GOP rolls out "minority" candidates like Rubio and Carson who have the right skin color but are completely out of touch with their own people.
Erik: Ted Cruz and his father have both been anointing Ted as God's chosen candidate, carrying forth God's Divine Mission, etc. Rubio running for governor of Florida? LOL.
You're right about Teabaggers being so self-absorbed and full of Hubris (and other things) that they're totally oblivious to what most people actually think of them.
MRM: Yup, that's about the size of it. I have no idea what purpose the guy on the wrong floor serves, but he provides plenty of fodder for late night comedians.
Jim: The GOP must think this "token" gimmick will work one of these times, even though it hasn't worked yet.
