Cheney: “We Need To Get Out of Iraq NOW!”

OK, he didn’t actually say that. But with Cheney’s near-perfect record of wrong predictions, this seems like the clearest choice. We've all heard jokes about people listening to the weather forecast and then dressing for the exact opposite. “Mostly sunny today” equals “break out the raincoat and umbrella.”

It’s the same with Dick “Wrong Way Corrigan” Cheney. The person who brought us “our soldiers will be greeted as liberators” and “the insurgency is on its last legs” has struck again.

“If our coalition withdrew before Iraqis could defend themselves…the violence would likely spread throughout the country and be very difficult to contain. Having tasted victory in Iraq, the militants would look for new missions.” Well there you have it, straight from the horse’s mouth. Hurry up and get our troops out of that hellhole and bring them home. Now.

Wait! You saw Cheney? You saw him speak? Damn, that guy's more of a Yeti than a vice-president. He's less visible than david Copperfield, for crying out loud.

I'm sure he said all of that with his trademark sneer as well. Between his sneer and W's smirk, they both need someone to take a piece of kindling to their backsides, like their mamas shoulda done when they were little.

Kurt: Yeah, I think that's a good description of him.

Mile High Pixie: Yup, every once in awhile Cheney emerges from his secret lair and gives a speech. Of course he only speaks to a select pre-screened audience to make sure nobody will express any dissenting views. I think these audiences are cued when it's time to clap, time to raise their little flags, etc.

He IS like a Yeti! Or like a Bigfoot... a Bigfootinmouth, more likely.

He makes erroneouns and dire statements with such frequency these days, it has become obvious he has never heard of the stories of Chicken Little or of the Boy Who Cried Wolf...

Snave: That’s true, Cheney has made so many dire predictions, he and Bush are the little boys who cried Wolf too many times.
