Valerie Plame 1, Robert Novak 0

Only a sleazy mean spirited lowlife would say something nasty about a person who’s just died. OK, with that said:

Burn in Hell you cocksuckin’ slippery little sack of pus.

Ahem — [breathe deeply, visualize a calm blue lake...]

Sorry but it needed to be said.

Just got off the phone with Satan--Novak is way too sickening for his taste. Right now God and the head of hell are drawing up plans for a solitary confinement habitat. Satan says it's good practice as Pat Robertson won't be alive forever.

Preach it, brother Tom.

Please people, if someone was a vile fuck in real life, their memory doesn't get a free pass after they shuffle off this mortal coil. So just stop with the high n' mighty crap.

Too bad hell isn't real.

Tom - I'm sure you're not a mean spirited lowlife, just a natural reaction to a death of someone who was mean a spirited person in the true sense of the word. Someone else who can't testify to who was the traitor in the White House.

Enemy: LOL. Maybe Novak and Pat Robertson could be cellmates in whatever hideous afterlife awaits both of them.

Randal: I agree. If somebody was a douchebag when they were alive, they don't turn into a saint after they're gone.

Holte: He really was a nasty person and a traitor.

The guy ran over a homeless man and then got a $50 fine?? I don't care if the guy was totally brain-tumored and crackers, a $50 fine?? For running over someone?

This guy was mostly a POS before he got the brain tumors.

Bee: Damn, I forgot all about that, Novak running over a homeless person and getting a $50 fine. Now I remember. Novak was just full of good deeds. The world is a better place without him.

It makes me feel badly for anyone who ends up with cancer, but as far as Novak no longer being around to poison wells, act treasonously, and crap on others... I'm plenty o.k. with that.

Straining for something positive to add . . .

OK, here it is. The U.S. is a little bit better place, its politics a little less cynical, nasty and underhanded because of Novak's passing. Albeit involuntarily, he finally has made a helpful contribution.

Now, I wonder if he was laid away in a three-piece asbestos suit.

I could say nasty things but then that would just be lowering myself to the teabag crowd.
But notice how Novak isn't getting the Tim Russert treatment.

The treacherous bastard deserved to die in prison.

Snave: True, that's one less well being poisoned.

SW: Yes, I'm grateful for his last contribution, voluntary or involuntary.

Carlos: Yup, a true POS.

Demeur: As much as I hate to admit it, sometimes it's fun to lower myself down to the teabagger mentality. But it's only temporary (I think!).

Lew: In any other country, he would have been jailed (or worse).

I said something similar when I heard the news, though I may get a taste of the fire myself for such an uncharitable thought.
