America’s Income Inequality One of the World’s Worst
But hey, we aren’t THE worst. Uganda has an even larger wealth disparity than we do. So there.
This graph shows the income gap in eight countries. Ethiopia, Pakistan and Kazakhstan all have a much smaller wealth gap than the U.S.
America’s income inequality is at its highest level since the Great Depression of the 1930s.

Tom,
You have to give the rich all the money. Don't you know they are the ones that create all the jobs. If it wasn't for the rich, our economy would be in the tank.
Oh, wait...
Makes me wonder how all those poor, oppressed people in Sweden and Norway stand it. Why, you'd think they would be having one bloody revolution after another, trying to throw off the oppressive hand of government and the unbearable burden of high taxes.
What's mine is mine, what's yours is......mine.
C'mon, SWA, when's the last time the Norwegians or Swedes put the smack down on anyone, when Harald or Ivar were bloody eagle-ing some hapless Saxon, that's when, USA USA USA!
Told you, we are the richest third world country ever. We're number #1, America Fuck yeah!!!!!!! Also, too ;) we have about 5% of the world's population and we have 25% of the worlds prison population. Something to write home to mom and dad about isn't it?
"we have about 5% of the world's population and we have 25% of the worlds prison population"
wow look Jess agrees with Gary Johnson
@LISA no she does not agree with him at all. She is very involved with the discrepancies that are justice for one group of people vs the other and keeps up with what's going on in the justice systems via different amnesty groups but thanks for playing anyway.
Those other countries, they have these really rich people who come from families that have had it for a long time and they are totally controlling the government and then throw their poor just a few crumbs
While this country.......
Oh never mind!
Erik
Jerry: We've been waiting 31 years for trickledown to arrive, but I'm sure it'll be here any day now.
SW: Yes, those must be horrible countries to live in, with such a huge tyrannical government regulating their lives and sapping all ambition and incentive.
Anonymous: That's about it.
Randal: I'll bet those sissies don't even have stock car races or tractor pulls.
Jess: Dear Mom and Dad, I'm currently investing myself in America's prison-industrial complex, serving ten to twenty for drug possession.
Erik: That must be awful the way they do things in those other countries. Glad it's different here.
