Repealing “Obamacare” More Important Than Preventing America’s Default

It’s all over the news that the debt ceiling negotiations have collapsed. But the mainstream “media” didn’t bother to mention the reason.

When it looked like they had almost reached a deal, Republicans threw a wrench in the gears: Any possible deal would have to include the repeal of Obama’s Affordable Care Act.

At least the Republicans have their priorities straight. It’s OK if America turns into the world’s largest third world deadbeat nation, as long as their HMO pimps can keep on gouging and killing.

Oh, and there was one other reason John Boehner stormed out of the conference room so suddenly: “I needed a drink.”

Someone, here maybe, said don't hate your enemies, it clouds your thinking. I for one truly, truly hate the asstard Republican Party, and my thinking is damned clear on this.

Over 70% of the American people on both sides want this thing balanced out, and especially taxes raised for the upper income bracket. 70% of the population is being ignored. Ignored...by the Republican Party. I will never understand how anyone could vote Republican.

This is just further proof that republicans don't really want to solve the problem. In fact, I don't see any evidence that they want to solve problems at all. All they want to do is CREATE problems.

Rushpoubliscums are traitors. They are, and I mean this sincerely, no better than the Nazis or the Japanese. They have undoubtedly managed to kill more Americans than either of the aforementioned.

The single biggest cut that could be made in Medicare would be to allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices. The fact that Medicare is FORBIDDEN from negotiating drug prices is a huge gift from the tax payers to the drug companies.

Why don't they cut on other aspect like the Military or whatever rather than Medicare which is a constant help especially to senior citizens.

Why? Because the military is a constant help to the rich and powerful.

None of them want to solve the problem that's not really a problem.

They're gonna get theirs, folks.

jadedj: I think it's part of the rightwing junta's M.O.: Make the population so furious that their thinking gets clouded. And it's working. It gets very cloudy every time I see another news story about these assholes.

Jerry: They want to solve fake non-existent "problems" while creating real problems.

Erik: Hell no, that was Bush's multibillion dollar handout to his pharmaceutical masters.

JR: Our current Nazis have nicer suits and newer cars than their Japanese and German predecessors, but that's about the only difference.

Jerry: You're right but that'll never happen. Congress' pharmaceutical pimps would never allow it.

Humana: Sorry, the military is sacred, along with the war on drugs and Big Oil subsidies.

Jerry: What you said.

Randal: Yup, they'll get theirs.

And the Republican/teabagger crazies' cover story is that Obama came back after Boehner agreed to $800 billion in revenue increases wanting $400 billion more. That would've meant Republicans wouldn't get 110 percent of their demands.

That, of course, would be intolerable.

SW: If Republicans can't get at least 110% of their demands, Obama is a socialist tyrant who's ruining America.
