Florida Republicans: “No Hablo Hispanic”
According to state Senator Alan Hays (R—Ignoramus), Florida’s biggest problem is Hispanic-speaking immigrants from Puerto Rico.
Aside from there being no such language as “Hispanic,” can you name Einstein’s other little booboo? You are correct — the territory of Puerto Rico is part of the United States. Therefore, anyone born in Puerto Rico is automatically an American citizen.
DUUUHHH!!!
Are there any — ANY? — education or intelligence requirements for serving in the Florida legislature???
Members of both parties condemned Alan Hays’ comments, but one of his fellow Republicans stood up for him:
“I don’t think he meant it in a way that was negative or demeaning or detrimental.”
Labels: Alan Hays, Hispanic speaking immigrants, Puerto Rico immigrants

Just how did he mean it if it was not "negative or demeaning or detrimental?
Well this dumb fuck is even more of a dumb fuck than his dumb fuck mouth indicates. Puerto Rico votes for a delegate to the U.S. Congress. The delegate does not have voting rights in full house, but can vote in committee...in English, of course.
Jesuski W. Christ, the Klanbaggers are a sad and sorry lot.
I was watching a boxing match the other day, the announcer described the 4 boxers as "two being puerto rican and two being american,
When the Republicans were in retreat a few years ago they were going to have Jeb Bush (father of the little brown ones) being their outreach man to the Hispanic community. Now that they smell blood they are their usual racist selves.

I recall some of them seemed to believe if Obama was born in Hawaii he was not born in the U.S.
As for Puerto Rico, just imagine how the Republicans would howl if there was a move to make it our 51st state. They would claim it would all be about how it would be too costly, but we know what their real reasons would be.
Jerry: I'm sure he meant those slurs in the nicest possible way.
jadedj: Just make sure he doesn't vote in Hispanic.
JR: And they get sadder and sorrier all the time.
Erik: 2 Puerto Ricans versus 2 Americans, LOL.
Jess: That's the answer I suspected.
Dave: Murka consists only of the states that got defeated in the Civil War. They only lost because the liberal media kept undermining Confederate troops.
Snave: Yup, Republicans would have a mass tantrum if we made Puerto Rico a state. And in the same breath they'd be yelling "don't play the race card!"
SW: Blogger must have eaten your comment from 2 hours ago. I just now found it in my e-mail:
"I would like video of Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., splaining a few things to state Sen. Alan Hayes. It would be a priceless confrontation: mendacious Hispanic hot shot meets brain-dead bigot.
This brings me to my next point. It's interesting Hays singles out Puerto Ricans in a state that's had a fairly large and politically influential Cuban presence for a half century. After all, they speak Hispanic too.
Que el hombre es el hijo de puta loco."

Yes, I'd love to hear that conversation between Marco Rubio and Alan Hays.
Don't worry in about 10 years this won't even be an issue anymore. Now if we made Puerto Rico a state wouldn't that make a total of 59 states?
If the right wing has its way, before we have 59 states we will have a president who thinks Africa is a nation! Oh wait... we have already had one of those. 8-)
Well don't you think it's more important to know more about the the country you want to be president of:
Guess he had his allegiance mixed up:

Hate when that happens
Snave: LOL. He not only thinks it's a country; he still can't find it on that map of Europe. Where the hail is that dang country anyway?
Yo hablo espanol, vivia en La Republica Dominicana y Puerto Rico.
Los hispanicos quienes conozco siempre dicen que el idioma, digo, el no poder entender ingles es el problema mayor que tienen.
