Michele Bachmann is Pro-CHOICE!!!
Oh. My. God. She actually said it. Hell has frozen over and a pig just flew past my window.
On Meet The Press, Michele Bachmann said:
“What we want is women to be able to make their own choices…We want women to make their own choices in healthcare. You see that’s the lie that happens under Obamacare. The President of the United States effectively becomes a health care dictator. Women don’t need anyone to tell them what to do on health care. We want women to have their own choices, their own money, that way they can make their own choices for the future of their own bodies.”
Apparently nobody on Meet The Press pointed out the screaming irony of her comments. The president of the United States is a “health care dictator” because of the Affordable Care Act. And yet Michele Bachmann has been constantly screaming to ban birth control and abortion — and she’s simultaneously talking about “women making their own choices.”
Do Michele Bachmann’s various personalities know about each other?

Sounds to me like a very healthy dose of projection...
She seems to think her side can make gains by worming their way into the minds of women who think the GOP is what will keep them from having choices about what to do with their bodies... by telling them it is in fact Obama that will keep them from having those choices.
She conveniently leaves out the part about her side being against reproductive rights for women, apparently in hope that some of her audience will bypass critical thinking skills and "blame it all on Obama" despite it being obvious that her side is the one that is trying to crack down. I don't think she will make much progress using such tactics. To begin with, these are polarizing issues, and many people have already made up their minds. What's worse for her is that her credibility is quite low...
Although it wouldn't surprise me to see other prominent right-wingers, probably eventually including Romney, using this sort of tactic. Throw some snake oil out there, and count on some of the people being stupid enough that it will stick.
It is most definitely projection, and morons like the one who comments here all the time are too stupid to see through it. I blame a severely limited gene pool.
Are they still having one of those election thingamajigs in November?
Yeah, I guess so, Randal... for what that's worth. LOL!
Snave: Snake oil and projection, those are the two main ingredients for any good rightwing soundbite.
JR: What would the Right do without that severely limited gene pool?
Randal: 'Fraid so.
David Gregory's a lightweight. I wish they'd have found someone else to host MTP. I can't tell you how many paper balls and such I've thrown at the TV imploring him to ask a question or to call someone on their hypocrisy or non-answer.
Carlos: I never watch Meet The Press or any of those Sunday programs, but I've heard they're a haven for conservatives to spew out their talking points without being questioned or challenged.
