Erik: Since Up is Down with these people, it probably is a step up. Todd Akin should enter the presidential primary; he'd blend right into the woodwork since all the other candidates are so wacky.
Good God these characters are right out of the TV Series, Alpha House. I swear that is where they are getting their inspiration. Seriously.
Can't wait until somebody asks Trump what he thinks of black folks.
jadedj: I hadn't heard of that TV show -- I had to Google it. It sounds pretty funny, but I don't think it comes close to the real-life absurdity of the 2016 GOP circus.
Demeur: He'll probably say "I think they're great. Everyone should own 5 or 6 of them."
You're right about the real bozos. The series is pretty scathing. The lead characters are Republican (all Charlatan ((of course)) ) and the portrayals aren't flattering. I LOVE IT. The first two seasons are on Amazon, if you are so inclined.
