Congress More Hated Than BP, the IRS and Communism
Oh, and Paris Hilton too.
I don’t know what this all means; probably nothing. I’ve always been amused by these statistical displays, like Harper’s Index (no relation).
Senator Michael Bennet (D—Colorado) had a field day with these public approval ratings on MSNBC’s “Daily Rundown” last week:
The IRS: 40%
BP (during the height of last year’s oil spill): 16%
Paris Hilton: 15%
The idea of America “going Communist” — 11%
Huge Chavez: 9%
U.S. Congress: 9%
As the linked article says:
“Bringing the government to a standstill over and over again to spite Barack Obama (current approval 47% and tracking upward) is working out really well.”
