Darrell Issa will CONTINUE congressional Witch-Hunt of Eric Holder
As you know, Attorney General Eric Holder has been exonerated after an investigation by the Justice Department. The Justice Department WILL be prosecuting fourteen DOJ officials as a result of their investigation into Operation Fast and Furious. Their investigation was obviously not a whitewash.
And just to set the record straight, Operation Fast and Furious was started during George W. Bush’s presidency.
Again, Eric Holder has been exonerated. In case any conservatives are reading this, that big five-syllable word means “Not Guilty.” When a person has been exonerated after an investigation, people whose IQs are higher than their shoe sizes will say “OK, we’re done. Asked and answered. Next.”
Darrell Issa (R—Ex-Convict), on the other hand, can’t seem to grasp the meaning of “exonerated” and is planning to continue investigating and searching and dirt-digging in an endless quest to find something — anything! — he can possibly pin on Eric Holder. YOUR tax dollars at work.
According to the linked article, Darrell Issa “is vowing to continue pursuing Attorney General Eric Holder's contempt of Congress citation in court and said the report [exonerating Eric Holder] is all the more reason to continue his own probe with new zeal.”
WTF???!?!
In other words “The defendant has been acquitted. That does it! Now I KNOW he’s guilty!”
DUUUHHH!!!
How does this useless sack of pus keep getting elected to the House?
In case anyone needs a living breathing example of the Peter Principle — look no further than Darrell Issa. He was very good at stealing cars and setting fires, but how he clearly has been promoted to his own level of incompetence and is in way over his head.
Darrell Issa — go back to stealing cars. At least that was something you were able to do right.

This congressional event pertaining to "Fast and Furious is not a witch hunt. I watched all testimony presented by Eric Holder and he has refused to provide what was requested and later demanded by congress. He lied with full intention of lying. His so called exoneration was presented for review by Congress and is not the final word. It was presented by Eric Holders employees. My great hope is that the complete evidence of this misguided gun gifting to Mexican drug lords is uncovered and that Eric Holder is prevented from any further influence of our country.
Obama cited Executive Privilege, so Holder couldn't have provided any more documents even if he wanted to. Issa and his thugs don't have the 'nads to hold Obama in Contempt, so they're taking it out on Holder.
And again, this "gun gifting to Mexican drug lords" program was started when Bush was still in office.
Issa wants to be real Governor or Senator really bad, he's spent tons of money over the last few elections for just a few measly votes and he probably figures this might bring him over the top!
Besides remember what the Republicans did to their own Alberto Gonzales?
Erik
Erik: If I remember right, it was Darrell Issa who started the recall drive against Gov. Grey Davis. He thought he'd be a shoe-in for governor if Davis got recalled, and then Ahnuld barged in and the rest was history.
Tom,
You're right!
Erik
Issa went after Holder with the intention of: 1, giving payback for all the well-earned grief Alberto "The Consigliere" Gonzales got from Congress for not knowing or caring that his first duty was to the Constitution and laws, not to the bozz; and 2, doing his part to make the Obama administration, starting with the AG, look inept, crooked, or both -- especially during this election year.
Issa is a lowlife partisan thug, the richest man in Congress and a Republican. If that isn't a trifecta of no good, I don't know what is.
Actually SW, Gonzales never had much Republican support either. Not during the confirmations and especially when called up for testimony.
The Latino community took note of that one.
Erik
Erik, I watched Gonzales' confirmation hearings and later, when he was called to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee. As Democrats became increasingly alarmed and tough on him, I saw plenty of running interference, practically putting alibis and excuses in his mouth by some Republicans on the committee. I remember Republicans complaining and taking their Dem colleagues to task for being hard on A.G. the AG. Orren Hatch, especially, in that high-pitched, whiny voice of his, where he sounds like any moment now he's going to throw himself on the floor and start beating his feat and fists while crying and screaming.

Good One about Hatch

Darrell Issa is Crazy (with a capital C on purpose).
Issa is one of those Rushpubliscums that always has me trying to imagine what one of his typical supporters must be like. Then, I get queasy and try not to imagine anything else.
Nothing like trying to beat a dead horse.
Their game plan is one of total distraction. Since they are devoid of ideas it's all they can do now. Say one thing then vote against it and hope that no one is watching.
Oh like this is a surprise to anyone here. Issa is all about making himself look good, which he fails at every time, if you are paying attention.
