Full Disclosure: I’m From Mars
I think we’re all Martians on this bus.
According to a new hypothesis, life on Earth had to originate on another planet — presumably Mars. Way back then, Planet Earth couldn't have provided the necessary molecular machinery to create life. Steven Benner, a chemist with the Foundation for Applied Molecular Evolution, said:
“The evidence seems to be building that we are actually all Martians; that life started on Mars and came to Earth on a rock.”
This idea isn’t new. Panspermia is the scientific term for the theory that life originated somewhere else in the universe and was transported to Earth by way of comets or meteorites.
Who knows? Maybe Erich von Daniken was right all along.
This doesn’t bode well for the Creationists, does it? Unless Adam and Eve were space travelers.
