Paul Ryan: Lying Sack of Shit
Paul Ryan’s acceptance speech last night was nothing but the same regurgitated Republican Big Lies that have already been parroted by millions of inbred stooges. But he’s forceful and articulate and he tells these lies so convincingly.
Where to begin…
He blamed Obama for America’s credit downgrade by Standard & Poor. It was congressional Republicans who brought us to the brink of default. Anyone who follows the news already knows this. Republican dunces on the other hand…
Ryan also blamed Obama for not following the recommendations of the Simpson-Bowles Debt Commission. Paul Ryan was a member of that commission and he himself voted against the commission’s recommendations.
And the most colorful of all: Ryan blamed Obama for the closure of a GM plant in Janesville, Wisconsin. Uh, one small detail — the plant closed in 2008 when George W. Bush was still president.
At least Ryan didn’t regurgitate the “you didn’t build that” soundbite that was reverberating throughout the Republican convention. He probably figured those four words had been regurgitated enough already.

Sir, this is an insult to sacks of shit everywhere.
Mainstream on your side today Tom Dave Ross of CBS radio not only said the same thing, but he backed it up with recordings.
Maybe we need to bring back those old running disclaimers like they had in the old Joe Isuzu Commercials

I thought Republicans had reached the apex of their lying with the Bush/Cheney regime. Then came Sarah Palin and the teabaggers. Now it's the Romney-RUIN gang. Where is it going to end? Can they possibly get even worse?
jadedj: You're right. What was I thinking?
Erik: I'm glad the mainstream media ran with this. Ryan and Romney make Joe Isuzu look straightforward and upfront.
Jack: Don't worry, there's always room for Republicans to sink lower and lower.
Ryan "blamed Obama for America’s credit downgrade by Standard & Poor. It was congressional Republicans who brought us to the brink of default."
Absolutely. Romney, Ryan and others' speeches made similar false statements, making out Democrats had done things Republicans actually did or making out Republicans had not done things they most certainly did do. It's a pre-emptive strategy and of a piece with the way lying Republican dirtbags turned John Kerry's strength of being a decorated veteran with an excellent military service record into a liability, while insisting de facto draft dodger and sunshine soldier George W. Bush served honorably and well, when in truth he served for his own benefit and at his own convenience in a way very few people ever get away with.
These pre-emptive lies are part of a strategy. They will be reinforced by attack ads across the country and by talk radio babble. Watch and listen for it. It's coordinated and can be very effective, especially among those who insist the candidates and parties are all basically alike and all bad.
Those are just a few of the lies Romney has been peddling. Check this out... it is nothing surprising, but it's still mind-blowing.
Over 500 lies in 30 weeks, all documented, with links
SW: Goebbels must be positively beaming from his grave. "This Paul Ryan fellow has taken my Big Lie invention and expanded it beyond my wildest dreams."
Snave: 533 lies in 30 weeks -- sounds like an Olympic event. Or a variation of the Jefferson Airplane's "3/5 of a mile in 10 seconds."
I'll have to read the article in detail later. Looks like some vital information that everyone needs to know about.
