Separated at Birth: Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Bob Dylan
Is it just me, or does the picture of Bob Dylan on the current Rolling Stone cover (RS 1191) look an awful lot like Dzhokhar Tsarnaev?
When I picked up the newest Rolling Stone a few days ago, I was “WTF??? They’re putting the Boston Bomber on the cover again??? Oh, it’s Bob Dylan.”
It’s one thing to see a picture by itself and think “this looks a lot like ____________.” But when you place the two Rolling Stone issues (RS 1188 and RS 1191) side by side on the table, there’s still a bizarre resemblance between the two cover pictures, IMHO.
It’s an early photo of Bob Dylan. The cover story (which I haven’t read yet) is titled “Dylan: The Lost Years.”

One thing you should realize is that Dylan NEVER looked that good, at least not in the last 20-25 years. Last I saw him he was so old and grizzled he was almost scary! Now clean him up and/or show a much younger picture like I'm sure they did and there is a resemblance.
Remember in a way, they do have the same roots

Erik, most lazy thing I've ever heard about Dylan. Same roots? So many strange things get said about him, like he has a crappy voice, but that's a good one. Giant non sequitur too!
Most bizarre thing saw surrounding the Boston case is the day after the picture was released that ended up on the cover of RS, Martin Beshir began his show with that pic, and the Stone's Give Me Shelter playing, was so freakin' weird.
Oh boy don't go all Glen Beck on us now Tom.
By "same Roots" I meant that Dylan comes from Eastern European (Russian Jews) ancestry, not too far from where Tsarneav's people come from, if they sorta look alike, it's because they have similar ethnic backgrounds

Erik: Dylan must be around 70 now, give or take. But even in his younger years, nobody ever accused him of getting places on his looks.
Anonymous: Of course Bob Dylan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev have the same roots. They're both radical leftists and they both hate America :)
