Newt Gingrich Explains Why He’d Be a Godawful President

This article tells what kind of presidency we could expect from the two-faced wife-cheating disgraced former House Speaker.

Gingrich told an audience that the 2012 election will be the most important election since 1860 when Abraham Lincoln was elected. Only this time, instead of that there Union army, it’s them “radical left-wing values” of Barack Hussein Osama that we need to worry about.

Gingrich described Obama as “the most successful food stamp president in modern American history.” Guess what Dildo — most of the “food stamps” went to Wall Street.

Gingrich’s economic solution: Doing the exact same thing we’ve been doing over and over for the last 31 years, but THIS time the results will be different. You know the drill: eliminate the estate tax, eliminate all capital gains taxes, reduce corporate taxes, and jillions of new jobs will be created so fast your head will be spinning.

Other words of wisdom from Newt Gingrich include: Sonia Sotomayor is a racist; Obama’s class warfare and hatred of white people needs to be understood in terms of his “Kenyan, anti-colonial behavior;” and building a mosque four blocks away from Ground Zero is the same as placing a Nazi sign next to the Holocaust Museum.

Yes, that’s definitely the kind of level-headed grownup talk we all expect from a future President of the United States.

Oh, and General Electric sleazing their way out of paying ANY income taxes: That’s a GOOD thing. It’s the fault of them tax-and-spend Democrats and their jackbooted IRS thugs. What’s a poor little corporation to do?

Gingrich praised GE’s “remarkably rational behavior in recognizing the corporate tax rate is clearly past the Laffer curve point. And so 375 tax lawyers in the largest tax department in the world devised a very clever strategy which enabled General Electric to pay zero corporate taxes.”

Gingrich also wants to de-fund the National Labor Relations Board. Damn right! Buncha dummies who work with their hands and do physical labor — who needs ‘em?!? How many Republican campaigns did THEY ever contribute to?

Well, there you have it, straight from the Horse’s Ass’s mouth. Is anyone actually going to vote for that dickwad?

Jon Stewart gave Newt Gingrich a proper thrashing on the Daily Show the other night. Check it out. (You’ll have to scroll down to get to the video.)

"Some have questioned whether Gingrich_ known for his combative style and what some consider over-the-top rhetoric — has the temperament and discipline to be president."

Well... I would say he has neither.

He is little more than a back-slapping good-old-boy who craves power. Hey, that was quite the high he was on back in the early-mid Nineties... Oh, to have that back again! Heh!

If it is all about image these days as much as I think it is, then Gingrich's image is tarnished beyond repair.

Newt Gingrich is an idea whose time has come... and gone.

A vocal minority of Gingrich supporters will be getting some press, claiming he is great, etc. and it will give him a slight bump... but I will be VERY surprised if this guy's candidacy ever really takes off. I put him in the same category as Sarah Palin and Donald Trump; he is a celebrity, like those other two, but he is smarter and has Washington experience... I think that is about the only difference.

Newt is in it for the money. He will collect contributions and run...away as fast as he can. He is scamming.

Jerry Critter is spot on...Gingrinch (sic) = P.T. Barnum re-incarnated, milking the born-every-minute suckers for every dime.

I just hate the thought of even having to hear the asswipe spout his b.s. during the campaign.

Just how many clowns can they roll out? Humm, Trump, Bachmann, Paul, and Newt. Glenn Beck isn't doing much these days maybe he should join this circus.

For those who are enthused about Obama, or at least enthused about the possibility of him keeping Republicans out of the White House for four more years, these are encouraging:

The GOP is getting a late start, for sure. For those among them who think they can just sit back and wait, there's no hurry because it will be a cakewalk for them, etc., they are just fooling themselves.

Snave: I agree, Gingrich has neither the discipline or temperament to be president. And I think those qualities, for a president, are still important to voters, in spite of how far downhill the level of political discourse keeps sliding.

Jerry: I think you're right. Gingrich, and Palin and Trump too, are just scamming. They've seen how lucrative it can be to run for president, and they're just keeping the megabucks pouring in.

jadedj: At least P.T. Barnum didn't serve divorce papers on his wife while she was dying in the hospital.

Demeur: Send in the clowns. They're all so wacked out, even Glenn Beck would just blend in.

Snave: Thanks for the links. I don't want to get complacent, but for now I can't imagine any of these GOP wannabes defeating Obama.

Consider just the fact that Gingrich was such an abominable combination of ignorance and overbearing, over-reaching arrogance that even the lockstep-marching drones of the Republican House Caucus wanted him gone from the leadership.

If Gingrich can con enough people into voting for him that he wins the presidency, there is no hope for this country. It's over, done and done for.

SW: "ignorance and overbearing, over-reaching arrogance" -- that describes Gingrich to a T. That's exactly why the lockstep goose-steppers didn't want him as Speaker any more, and I hope it will keep him out of the White House.
